MessageHi ALL; I don't know where to start. I just have to tell you my story. It all started because we couldn't afford a computer. One day my wife saw an "info-mercial" for something called "webtv". I said we could look at them but we were not going to buy one. Then we decided to get one just to "surf the web". She started to use it and then started to write to her friends and go to forums and talk all night. Then she decided to learn to make web pages and stuff. Well, I tried it myself and now I am definitely addicted. I get up way before it is time to go to work and "create" stuff and pages and midis and wavs and backgrounds and, and .... What should I do? I am not gettng enough sleep and I stay up late and have to check my mail one more time. I see the light go on and know someone is writing to me or sending me neat stuff to read or look at or copy or, or, or.... Now I am thinking of pages to make while I am driving or working. I wonder if they will make a "lap top" version of this so I can take it with me while I work? I can come home for lunch now so I have another half hour each day to get on the web. When my wife hears me drive up she stops what she is doing and switches it over so I can use it. She really thinks I have landed in cyberspace some where or on another planet! Well, I had better close for now and get back to work. My lunch break today has just turned into two and one half hours of cyber time....ha ha ha Thay are coming now to take me away ..I hear them, I hear the sirens. They are coming in the diveway now. They are wearing those little white coats with the pocket protectors and all their pens and pencils sticking out. They all have big horn-rimmed glasses. Where can I hide and still use the webtv? They are at the door now. Help me, help me.. |
